EPA is an air-water heat pump, with multiscroll compressors able to fully meet heating, cooling and domestic hot water production requirements.
Available in two versions:
– M for 2-pipe systems with domestic hot water, with total recovery
– P for 4-pipe systems, to also simultaneously meet heating and cooling requirements, with total recovery
Total heat recovery
Thanks to the dedicated total heat recovery refrigeration circuit with parallel condenser, EAP meets the heating and DHW needs of residential commercial and industrial systems, without having to reverse the refrigeration cycle whenever a heating and cooling request is received.
Extreme modulation
Thanks to the possibility of installing the pumping groups inside the unit, the hydraulic flow can be modulated to maximize the system efficiency. The use of EC electronic fans allows complete modulation to be managed according to energy and acoustic requirements.
Operation
EPA heat pump technology.
EFFICIENCY PACK
EPA is equipped with high efficiency scroll compressors, and can be designed with single or double refrigerant circuit, with a positive impact on efficiency at partial loads or operating redundancy.
CHOICE OF REFRIGERANT FLUID
EPA can be equipped with standard R410A refrigerant, or with the innovative low environmental impact R454B for maximum environmental sustainability. The use of the A2L ready kit consisting of refrigerant leak sensors and overpressure fans for the electrical control panel makes EPA safe even when slightly flammable refrigerants classified as A2L are used.
SMART DEFROSTING
Thanks to the presence of completely separate and independent refrigeration circuits, EPA guarantees continuity of operation even during the defrost phases without having to suspend the production of hot water for the system. Also, the use of finned coils with hydrophilic treatment allows the reduction of surface frost formation by up to 30%.
MAXIMISED SOUNDPROOFING
The use of panels to completely enclose the refrigerator compartment, the quality of the soundproofing materials used and the use of dedicated anti-vibration mounts to support the compressors make of EPA an ultra-low noise heat pump.
