EPH is an air-water heat pump, with steam injection multiscroll compressors (EVI) for the production of hot water up to 65°C, capable of operating with outside temperatures down to -20°C. It can fully meet any heating, cooling and domestic hot water production requirements.
Smart Defrost System
EPH uses an innovative patented system for detecting any deterioration of energy efficiency, which allows defrost cycle requirements to be optimised. The use of coils with hydrophilic surface treatment allows the formation of surface frost to be reduced by up to 30%.
Thanks to the use of steam injection compressors (EVI) hot water can be produced up to temperatures of 65°C. Operation is possible even at outside temperatures down to -20°C. The exclusively electronic control of the expansion and steam injection valves allows EPH to be efficient in any temperature or modulation condition.

EPH is equipped with high efficiency scroll compressors, and can be designed with single or double refrigerant circuit, improving efficiency at partial loads or operating redundancy.
“COLD” START SMART KIT
The possible use of EPH in extreme temperature conditions is made easier by a smart kit for cold starting. This option allows EPH to be started for hot water production even in systems at very low temperatures. It is therefore useful for intermittent operation systems or systems with huge temperature fluctuations.
The electronically controlled expansion valve (EEV) maximises EPH performance under any temperature condition, at both source and user end, to ensure consistent efficiency and versatility.
The use of panels to completely enclose the refrigerator compartment, the quality of the soundproofing materials used and the use of dedicated anti-vibration mounts to support the compressors make of EPH an ultra-low noise heat pump.
